MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the Association For Thegreeningof is open to:

• individuals who are committed to the purposes of the Association
• •community groups committed to the purposes of the Association
• schools, colleges and tertiary institutions committed to the purposes of the Association
• •ex-officio members who are committed to the purposes of the Association and will include but not be limited to local councils, government departments and/or agencies, corporate entities.

The Association For Thegreeningof provides support and assistance to members by:

• providing a forum to discuss ways of taking local action that will improve the overall condition and ecological functions of the Cumberland Plain and its related ecosystems
• •developing, initiating and overseeing environmental projects within the Cumberland Plain and its related ecosystems
• seeking and obtaining Government grants that will result in improvements to the ecological functions of the Cumberland Plain and its related ecosystem
• developing and strengthening links between members, local councils, statutory bodies, government departments and agencies and supportive corporate entities
• facilitating information exchange and mutual support across the membership.
