ABOUT US
Who we are
The Association for Thegreeningof Inc is a not-for-profit organisation
of community based environmental groups who work together to improve the condition
and ecological functions of the Cumberland Plain and its related ecosystems.
What we do
The role of the Association will be to use a whole of Cumberland Plain
perspective as the basis for providing support, co-ordination and assistance to members
to identify and access funding, develop and work in partnership with government agencies,
local councils and corporate entities.
Our priorities
- Protecting endangered and threatened native species, including protecting and restoring
the habitat of these species, threatened ecological communities and migratory species.
- Reversing the long-term decline in the extent and quality of Australia’s native vegetation.
- Protecting and improving waterway ecosystems.
- Preventing or controlling the introduction and spread of feral animals, aquatic pests, weeds and other biological threats to biodiversity.
